The Parish of Ferragudo trying to meet the challenges facing the public administration, has promoted in the ACD Ferragudo a training on the subject, conducted by Dr. Nelson's Days "In Loco Association."

The participants all linked to the local authorities , heard during the morning , lecture on the concept of participatory budgeting, diversification of models and their application to Portugal, with analysis of specific cases of success.

After lunch , where they could exchange experiences , were then invited to link together forming and structuring an example of participatory budgeting.

In order to analyze the submitted projects have included the security of a historical center, a social program for seniors and an intervention in a global village with the participation of all people, showed elevated levels of perception of the theme of the participants.

Farewell to enhance the interest of these initiatives, the knowledge acquired in the presence of real examples and greater capacity to deal more comfortable with people's participation in the characterization of priorities in budgeting.
