The Parish of Ferragudo is at this time preparing the Business Plan and Budget for the year 2011. Accordingly held a meeting with members of all political forces represented in the Assembly of Councils, making them aware of the restrictions to which is required given the current financial restraint in public spending, and auscultated their views.
In real terms the year 2011 brings us a percentage decrease of 8.6% of the amount transferred from both the Development Fund of the Parish as the delegation of powers, which corresponds to a value of around Euro 10,000.00. Naturally, the projects already committed and set out in previous business plans will be realized.
However we must sensitize our people and organizations from which we will actually be more judicious in future allocation of subsidies, more restrained in making events organized by the Parish Council, to monitor closely situations that social support while seek greater cooperation from all, a positive response that allows weaknesses that undermine the image of Ferragudo.
Everything we do and we will keep vigilant to minimize the difficulties announced but we do not want to speak truth to those who elected us and who have confidence in our work. The Board is always open to everyone, but in times of crisis consciousness that lie ahead have to go through all of us.
